Descoberta da Penicilina (1928) - Alexander Fleming
Faz hoje (23 de Setembro) 80 anos que o bacterilogista Alexander Flemming descobriu a Penicilina (1928), depois de ficar perturbado com as mortes dos soldados na Guerra devido a ferimentos infectados.
Fleming nasceu a 6 de Agosto de 1881 em Lochfield, na Escócia. Aos 13 anos muda-se para Londres para poder seguir os seus estudos. Era uma aluno brilhante, tendo-se matriculado na escola de Medicina de St. Mary, que posteriormente tornou-se parte da Universidade de Londres.
